Statement
My practice examines the layered nature of human experience, identity, and our relationship with the environment. I work with states of being and non-being, creation and dissolution, and the transitions that shape cultural and personal identity.
As a material-based artist, I view the medium as a direct extension of inner states. It becomes a way to understand how internal conditions and external pressures shape each other. This focus emerges from living between cultures and systems, and from paying attention to the tensions, contrasts, and dualities that form in those spaces.
Aesthetics function as a navigational tool for structuring these experiences. Fragility, transformation, and shifting states are central to my approach. Through them, my work reflects processes of rupture, adaptation, and the possibility of restoration.
