Statement

My artistic practice is guided by a continual exploration of the layered complexity of being human. Centered on identity, my work examines the tensions between fragility and materiality, as well as between internal states and external pressures. I am interested in questioning duality, believing that opposites are often different expressions of the same reality. Through processes of refinement and reorganisation, my work seeks the possibility of restoration, illuminating spaces where transformation can occur.

I am particularly drawn to the intersections between science, neuroscience, quantum physics, and spirituality, and the ways these disciplines mirror one another in their attempts to understand consciousness, perception, and existence. Concepts such as psyche, memory, meaning, repetition, and the infinite loop inform my practice, shaping an ongoing investigation into how human experience is constructed, fragmented, and reassembled. Through contrast and duality, I explore the fluid relationship between the visible and invisible, the material and immaterial, the rational and intuitive.
